JACKSONVILLE, Florida — The first round of 2026 Masters Tournament begins on Thursday, April 9, with Cameron Smith of Australia scheduled to make his 10th career start in Augusta. Supporting Smith’s preparation for the season’s first major championship is Jacksonville-based Nic Catterall from Audens Golf Performance (Audens), a leader in golf performance management.
Audens founder Nic Catterall has been Smith’s conditioning coach since 2018. During that time, Smith has recorded five top-10 finishes at the Masters, including runner-up in 2020.
